Hi, my name is Heather Bond, and I'm so happy to teach 4th grade here at Cedar Creek Elementary. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Sam Houston  State University, a master's degree in Reading from Texas A&M University, as well as an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Development from Blinn College. I am certified to teach Early Childhood through 8th Grade. I am also certified in English as a Second Language and have a Gifted & Talented endorsement. I began my teaching career in 2000 here at CCE and have taught 1st through 4th grade.

 

This year we will be analyzing reading and writing at a deeper level than previous years, as well as composing narrative and expository writing pieces, and responding to reading to show comprehension at a 4th grade level.

 

Here's what you can expect this year: FUN, FUN AND MORE FUN while learning a TON about reading and writing.
