Hello! My name is Dr. Joey Fuentes, and I am honored to serve as the new Assistant Principal at Cedar Creek Elementary. With over 20 years of experience in education, including leadership roles at the elementary, middle and high school levels, I’m excited to join this amazing school community and support our students, families, and staff.

I hold both a Doctorate and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, and throughout my career, I’ve been dedicated to creating safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environments where all children can thrive. I’m passionate about helping teachers grow, supporting students in reaching their full potential, and partnering with families to ensure every child’s success.

My experience includes instructional leadership, curriculum development, and using data to make informed decisions that improve academic performance. I’ve also led professional development efforts and worked hard to promote equity, inclusivity, and a sense of belonging in every school I’ve served.
