Childcare and After School Care
At Bastrop ISD we are proud to offer valuable and enriching after-school programs. Our programs are Beyond the Bell After School and STARS After School. Both are enrichment programs designed to help students learn, grow, and have fun.
Beyond the Bell After School Program, also known as BTB, provides a safe place after school for students in grades 9-12 to complete homework, receive tutoring and test preparation. BTB is provided at our three high school campuses.
STARS stands for Students Together Achieving Remarkable Success. Our STARS program is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and is staffed by Bastrop ISD employees available at all six elementary campuses. STARS staff provide homework assistance, recreation, and fitness, as well as engaging in enrichment activities.
ACE stands for Afterschool Centers on Education. The ACE program is one of the largest statewide afterschool programs in the country. The overarching goal of the program is to foster each student’s academic success by improving attendance, behavior, and academics which lead to grade-level promotion.
We also have award-winning Child Development Centers, where our staff provides the best care possible for the children of staff and teen parents.
