Family Resource and Health Center

  • The BISD Family Resource and Health Center is a joint partnership between Community Health Centers of South Central Texas, Bluebonnet Trails and the Bastrop Independent School District. The primary mission of the Bastrop ISD Family Resource and Health Center is to support families' capacity to raise healthy, well-functioning children, promote student achievement and family engagement through a broad array of prevention and early intervention services. These services are developed and delivered according to the unique needs of families.  The services specifically emphasize outreach to traditionally underserved populations to increase access to basic services and engagement in school.

    Support at the center may include direct services, counseling, referrals, application assistance for benefits, and adult/parenting education opportunities. BISD families are welcome to utilize services:

    • Access to healthcare
    • Access to mental health
    • Social Connections
    • Continuing Education
    • Notary Public Services
