Bastrop ISD is transitioning from paper flyers to digital e-flyers with Peachjar! Our goal is to continue streamlining and improving our communications processes and to provide great customer service. We hope Peachjar will be one more piece to that puzzle.

This new “green” initiative will save money and countless staff hours and will also help protect our planet’s precious resources by eliminating paper and ink. Peachjar also will allow the District to connect with parents about important news and information and to connect parents with youth-oriented activities and programs in our community.

E-flyers about events and activities happening on our campuses and within the district will be posted right to the District website and on our mobile app. Parents can also get flyers right to their email inboxes and can conveniently "click through" to register for events and activities. Parents can even customize how often to receive the emails and from which schools. The process and guidelines for e-flyer distribution align with Goal 2 from the BISD Strategic Action Plan, which states, “We will increase the effectiveness of communication throughout the BISD community.” It also reflects Goal 4 which states, “We will strengthen and develop partnerships with students, parents, businesses, and community members in order to empower learner success and productivity.”
