BootUp 1:1 Technology Initiative
Bastrop ISD has launched the BootUp 1:1 Technology Initiative, assigning Chromebooks to all 6th through 12th grade students for use at school and home. Additionally, in the fall of 2024, Cedar Creek Elementary will be launching the 1:1 initiative with their 3rd through 5th graders. Students will benefit from this initiative by accessing high-quality instructional materials and actively practicing good stewardship of technology in all aspects, including digital citizenship and general maintenance/device care. Students will be required to participate in the BootUp Technology Initiative with an option to purchase the BISD Protection Plan for an annual cost of $25.
