Welcome to the Bastrop ISD Child Nutrition Department. Bastrop ISD, in partnership with Aramark Student Nutrition, is committed to providing a quality food service program and recognizes the vital relationship between nutrition and education. The Child Nutrition department ensures that every student is offered a high quality, well-balanced, nutritious meal at breakfast and lunch. All meals are planned and analyzed according to the USDA and Texas Department of Agriculture guidelines. For more information and updates on what Bastrop ISD’s Child Nutrition department is accomplishing across our district, please follow us on Facebook and Instagram at BISD Eats.
Bastrop ISD elementary, intermediate and middle school campuses will continue to operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2022-23 school year. Schools qualifying to operate CEP serve breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals.
