Notification of a Positive Case

  • In keeping with Bastrop ISD's practices to respond to COVID-19, we are notifying parents, students, and staff that an individual who was present at your campus/building was recently test-confirmed positive for COVID-19. This is a general notification.

Due to privacy laws, we are not releasing the name of the positive individual or details that may identify them. At the bottom of this page are Detailed Case Reports  that provide the location, type of case (either student or staff), and classrooms impacted by the positive case. Detailed case reports will be updated at the end of each business day. The main COVID-19 Dashboard will continue to be updated on Mondays for the previous week's case information.
