Bastrop High School Student Council Presents Christian's Closet
Christian’s Closet began in the summer of 2017 as a single clothes rack inside the BHS Student Council portable, and has grown monumentally requiring the renovation of a building on campus. Initially, only BHS students were served, and now hundreds of students and their families at BISD utilize the closet.
"Christian’s Closet” was named in memory of Christian Harman, a recent BHS graduate and dear friend to many in the program. As one friend said, “He would have given you the shirt off his back.” From that point forward, Christian’s Closet was born. This was created by BHS Student Council as part of their Involvement Creates Impact (#ici) and Cool to be Kind (#c2bk) school-wide, year long campaigns.
BHS students in need of clothing, faculty & staff who are aware of students in need, OR if anyone has items to donate, text @BHScloset to 81010 and you can arrange to come pick out clothes, accessories or toiletry items!
