    Colorado River Collegiate Academy (CRCA) is named the #1 high school in BISD by U.S. News & World Report (2024). Enroll in the program in order to: 

    • Complete an associate's degree and high school diploma simultaneously!
    • Learn from dedicated teachers in small class sizes.

    The PTECH-Health Science Academy (HSA) offers a comprehensive curriculum to give you a step up in the healthcare field. Enroll in the program in order to:

    • Obtain a Pharmacy Technician Certification and credits from ACC.
    • Experience strong individualized learning support and mentorship.
    • Build your career portfolio, resume, and professional network.
    • Grain practical skills through job shadowing, internships, and on-site visits.

Admission Process

  • Applications are now open! Find out how you can join the next cohort of students—at no additional cost.

    Each program has a limited number of students accepted per cohort. A lottery process will be used if more qualified students apply than what the program can accommodate. There are no testing or knowledge prerequisites. To qualify for the four-year program, you must meet the following criteria:

    • Be a rising BISD freshman (there is no cost to BISD students, covering dual credit classes, supplies, transportation, and fees).
    • Attend Summer Bridge Program in June with site visits, guest speakers, program preparation, and team building.
