Our children are the most important investment we can make, and it is my priority as the Superintendent of Bastrop ISD to ensure that our teachers and our schools have the resources they need to support our students and help them grow into responsible, productive, and healthy young adults. We have learned that we can't do this on our own, however. We need the backing and partnership of our parents, our business community, faith leaders and others to truly be the destination district of excellence we aspire to be.

As a large organization with lots of moving parts, two-way communication can sometimes be a challenge, and I appreciate your understanding and support while we strive to communicate effectively and build on the trust and relationships we've established in the last couple of years. Our door continues to be open, and we welcome your participation in the process. Truly, I believe that our best days are ahead! We have a great team in place here at the Service Center and all across our district--instructional leaders, teachers, bus drivers, coaches, groundskeepers, childcare workers, paraprofessionals, directors, and more. Together with you, our parents and our community, we will transform Bastrop ISD into an amazing place to teach and learn.
