At the August 19 Bastrop ISD Board Meeting, Leasor Crass was named as the search firm to find the district's next leader. Leasor Crass was asked by the Board of Trustees to gather information to assist the Board in developing a profile for the next leader of Bastrop ISD. 

In the initial phase of the superintendent search process, Leasor Crass gathered valuable input from parents, staff, and community members through an online survey and stakeholder meetings. The presentation shared during the stakeholder meetings is available here. The feedback has been compiled and shared with the Board of Trustees to help develop the leadership profile for the next superintendent.

The Board will use this community input as it moves forward with the next steps of the search. Updates on the timeline and the selection process will be shared on this website as they become available.
