Disaster Area Relief for Hurricane Harvey

Districts located in the disaster area for Hurricane Harvey were notified that during the month of September, all students will receive free reimbursable breakfast and lunch meals. Parents who paid for reimbursable meals during the month of September will have that amount credited to their account. We are in the process of identifying those accounts and working with our food service provider to ensure that all accounts are properly credited. If you have any questions, please contact the Child Nutrition Department.

The Bastrop ISD announced a change to its policy for serving meals to children served under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 19-20 school year. Schools qualifying to operate the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) provide breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals. This new approach reduces burdens for both families and school administrators and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals. Cedar Creek Intermediate will participate this school year.
