It is our mission to foster a community of practice that empowers Bastrop ISD students to endure meaningful learning experiences, knowledge, and skills to compete in a digitally enhanced world throughout and beyond their secondary education.

Program Overview

The Bastrop ISD BootUp Initiative is a collaborative, district-wide technology initiative led by the Digital Learning and IT Services teams.  This initiative provides the foundation to support student academic outcomes through technology integration. Grounded in core collaborative work amongst multiple departments, the BootUp Initiative is made possible through the work of various teams, including Information Technology Services, Digital Learning, and Curriculum & Instruction. BootUp is composed of two main programs: BootUp Early Start at the elementary level (PreK-5) and BootUp 1:1 at the secondary level (6-12) and also includes Cedar Creek Elementary.
