• Part of the bond package includes the construction of two new elementary schools. One in Bastrop. Another in Cedar Creek. 

    Elementary School #7 will be located on a 12-acre site off of FM 969 in Bastrop near new residential construction in the Colony area. It will serve grades Pre-K through 5th grade. The expected timeline of this elementary school is to have construction complete by May 2023. The campus will open in August 2023.

    Elementary school #8 will be built on district-owned property near FM 812 and Highway 21 in Cedar Creek. It will also serve grades Pre-K through 5th grade. The construction of this elementary school is expected to be complete by July 2023. The campus will open in August 2023.
