• Substitute & Part-Time Employee Benefits

    Welcome to Bastrop ISD!  We are so glad YOU are a part of our team.

    • Substitute and part time staff that are expected to work at least 10 hours per week are eligible to enroll in health insurance with Bastrop ISD.
    • Health insurance is the only coverage you can enroll in.
    • You have 31 days from your first active day at work to enroll in benefits.  
    • Your benefits will begin on the first of the month following your first active at work date.
    • To enroll in benefits, you must complete the Substitute/Part Time Employee Benefit Selection form in TalentEd.
    • Once your form is received, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to submit your monthly premium payment.
    • Payment is due on the 10th of each month.  
    • Failure to pay your premiums will term your benefit coverage.
